This chapter focuses on post-harvest storage and handling practices of barley grain and how these methods can be used to mitigate mycotoxin issues. It also discusses management of insect pests in stored barley and how controlling them can help to prevent huge losses in stored grains. The chapter goes on to review the various mycotoxins and fungi that are associated with barley, followed by the various post-storage treatment of feed and malting barley.
