PLACING AN ORDER
What methods can I use to pay?
IndiePubs supports payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay. We also accept Google Pay.
When is my card charged for a preorder?
All orders are charged to your card as soon as you confirm your purchase, including preorders. Your preorder will remain active until the publication date, at which point the order will process and ship from our warehouse.
I have two promo codes, can I apply them both to my order?
You can only apply one promo code to each IndiePubs order.
My promo code isn’t working, what should I do?
Please contact the person or publisher who provided your promo code to verify it is correct; if you complete your order without the discount being applied, we will not be able to apply it retroactively.
I meant to apply a promo code to my order, can you refund me the discount?
We will only accept promo code discounts if they are applied before the order is completed.
I’m an author and would like to order my book through IndiePubs. Can I receive a discount?
Please contact your publisher to confirm if they offer author discounts through IndiePubs promo codes. If they do, use the provided code when placing your order to receive your discount.
I live outside of the UK & Europe. Can I order an ebook?
At this time, ebooks are only available to customers in the UK & Europe.
I live outside of the UK & Europe. Can I order a print book from IndiePubs?
At this time, print books are only available to customers in the UK and Europe.

How can I check the status of an order?
Please login to your account page to view this.
Can I cancel or modify an order after it has been placed?
IndiePubs cannot cancel or modify an order once it has been received.
What if I’ve entered the wrong shipping address on my order?
We cannot correct a shipping address once the order has been placed.
How can I track my order shipment?
We will email you a tracking number once your order has shipped; it may take a day or two for the carrier to provide tracking information after the number has been generated. If you cannot find your order shipment email, you can also find tracking information in your IndiePubs account.
My package is missing an item. What do I do?
On occasion, orders are split into two or more shipments. Please refer to the tracking numbers indicated in your order detail record to determine if your missing items are being shipped in a separate shipment. Preorders will often ship separately and will not delay the shipment of the rest of your order. If you did receive a shipment that is missing an expected title, please contact us at IndiePubsUKSupport@ingramcontent.com.
Under what circumstances can I receive a refund?
You can receive a refund when:
- An order or item is undelivered.
- The wrong item is delivered.
- An order or item arrives damaged.
- You are delivered a defective item.
How long do I have to return a print book?
You can return a book up to 30 days from the day your order was delivered.
How long do I have to return an ebook?
Ebooks are non-returnable.
How can I return an order?
If within 30 days of delivery, please contact us to notify us that you will be returning your order. Returns must include a copy of the original invoice and should be sent to:

How long will it take to process a refund?
Please allow up to 14 days for a refund to be processed by IndiePubs; once you receive emailed confirmation of your refund, it may take a few days for the refund credit to appear on your account.
I pre-ordered a book. When will it ship?
All pre-ordered books will ship by the publication date. If it is more than one week past the publication date and you have not received your order, please reach out to IndiePubsUKSupport@ingramcontent.com for assistance.
Can I change or cancel my pre-order?
IndiePubs cannot change the shipping address for preorders. However, you can cancel a preorder at any time for a full refund until the order begins processing for shipment. Most pre-orders begin processing a couple of weeks before the publication date, so IndiePubs may not be able to cancel pre-orders right before they are released. To request to cancel a preorder, please email IndiePubsUKSupport@ingramcontent.com.
A pre-order did not ship when expected. What do I do?
If a pre-order does not ship when the book reaches its publication date, it likely means that our warehouse has not yet received the stock. If the book fails to stock within six months of the publication date, the order will be cancelled, and your card will be automatically refunded. Please also note that publication dates can change between a title being announced and it being available for sale. Do check the publication date before getting in touch.
How will IndiePubs charges appear on my statement?
Your statement will show a charge from “Indiepubs.co.uk” reflecting the amount paid for your order.
EBOOKS
I purchased an ebook. How do I access my book?
Once you complete your ebook purchase, you will receive on 'Order Confirmation' email. You will then receive a follow up 'Order Update' email with a link to access your ebook via our digital fulfillment parter VitalSource Bookshelf.
In the 'Order Update' email, click the 'View your book' button. You will be prompted to create or log into an existing VitalSource Bookshelf account. If you have need assistance creating your account, please see this article. Once you are logged into Bookshelf, you can begin reading. Log back into your VitalSource Bookshelf account to view your ebook at any time.
If you have an IndiePubs account, you also can access your ebooks via your IndiePubs order history. View your ebook by selecting the title in your IndiePubs Order History and you will be taken to VitalSource Bookshelf to begin reading.
How do I read my ebook offline?

What is the difference between an EPUB and an EPDF?
Both EPUB and EPDF formats have restricted access. The key difference lies in their flexibility: EPUB allows you to adjust text size, font, and background colours, while EPDF maintains a fixed format that preserves the original layout and formatting.

I no longer wish to receive emails from IndiePubs or the publishers I have purchased from. How can I be removed from their mailing lists?
Please follow the unsubscribe links provided in emails from both IndiePubs and the publishers themselves to remove yourself from any emails you no longer wish to receive.
Can I contact an author of a book I’ve discovered through IndiePubs?
IndiePubs cannot provide any author contact information.
Can IndiePubs provide accessible editions of the titles listed on the site?
IndiePubs can only provide editions of the title listed on the site; if you wish to request an accessible version, please contact the book’s publisher.
I’m an instructor and would like to request an exam or desk copy, can I do that through IndiePubs?
IndiePubs does not process exam/desk copy requests; we would encourage you to contact the publisher of the book in question directly.
I would like to review a book carried on IndiePubs, can you provide me with a gratis copy?
IndiePubs does not provide review copies; we would encourage you to contact the publisher’s publicity department to see if review copies are available.
I’m an author and I would like IndiePubs to sell my book, how can I submit it?
IndiePubs only lists titles that are provided by the publishers participating in the site; we do not accept submissions ourselves.
