The World Clinics: Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine series brings pulmonary specialists fully up to date with the latest developments in different branches of respiratory medicine. Volume 2, Number 2 focuses on Pulmonary Manifestations of Systemic Diseases, which are diseases affecting the whole body rather than a single organ or body part.
Beginning with an introduction to systemic diseases and pulmonary manifestations, the following chapters examine how respiratory problems relate to, and assist in the diagnosis and management of various underlying conditions including cardiovascular diseases, renal disorders and gastrointestinal diseases.
