Ryan P. Shepherd is associate professor of English and the director of First-Year Composition at Northern Illinois University. He is coeditor of Multimodal Composing and Writing Transfer, and his work has appeared in Computers and Composition, Composition Studies, Kairos, and elsewhere.
Lilian W. Mina is professor, director of First-Year Composition, and director of Institutional Assessment at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is coeditor of Multimodal Composing and Writing Transfer and Towards More Sustainable Metaphors of Writing Program Administration, and her work has appeared in Composition Forum and Computers and Composition, among others.
Matthew Davis is professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he serves as codirector of the Writing Across the Curriculum program and director of the Center on Media and Society. He is a coeditor of the journal College Composition and Communication and Multimodal Composing and Writing Transfer, which won honorable mention for the Computers and Composition Book Award.
Kara Poe Alexander is professor of English in professional writing and rhetoric and managing director of the Center for Writing Excellence at Baylor University.
