Collection of essays adapted from an undergraduate honors conference held at Binghamton University which address contemporary issues in political philosophy.
This book is a collection of six essays adapted from an undergraduate honors conference held at Binghamton University, spring 2002. Each essay addresses a contemporary issue in political philosophy. The essays originated as Honors Projects administered through the Program in Philosophy, Politics and Law (PPL) at Binghamton University. The PPL major offers a diverse liberal arts education which includes core courses in philosophy and complementary courses in history, political science, economics, and other humanities and social sciences. The major leads to an interdisciplinary BA degree in PPL offered through Harpur College of Arts and Sciences. PPL also offers an MA degree through its combined five-year B.A./M.A. program.
