In this study, Erasmus Gaß analyzes the redaction history of the conquest narratives in Josh. 9-12. It is apparent that many redactors worked on this text, which is indicated not only by the idiolect but also by the references to Deut. and the text-critical deviations. The texts examined here show how Deuteronomist redactors in particular introduced their theological conceptions.
