Geophytes represent a significant segment of the world floriculture industry, particularly in cut flower production. This chapter reviews the main biotic and abiotic diseases affecting geophytes. It summarizes current good practice in integrated disease management with a particular focus on reducing fungicide use to address the problem of resistance. It focusses particularly on Botrytis infection of ornamental geophytes.
