English summary: In this volume the Coptic texts of a total of nine Coptic Gnostic and Manichaean Coptic Gospels and Acts of the Apostles are presented alongside a corresponding German translation. The individual texts are preceded by detailed introductions which address the provenance and time of origin of the scriptures, as well as examining their literary nature. Following collation of the facsimiles and hand written manuscripts, the texts have been provided with an extensive critical apparatus, while the translations come with linguistic and factual annotation. Indices of proper names and Bible passages conclude the volume. The texts contained in the volume include the Gospel of Mary (BG), the Gospels of Thomas and Philip, the Gospel of Truth (NH), the Gospel of Judas (Cod Tchacos) and the Acts of Peter (BG and NH).

German description: Der vorliegende Band enthalt den koptischen Text mit gegenubergestellter deutscher Ubersetzung von insgesamt neun koptisch-gnostischen und koptisch-manichaischen Evangelien und Apostelgeschichten. Den Einzeltexten sind ausfuhrliche Einleitungen vorangestellt, die sich neben Herkunft und Entstehungszeit mit dem literarischen Charakter der Schriften befassen. Die Texte werden nach Kollation der Faksimileausgaben oder der Handschriften mit ausfuhrlichem textkritischen Apparat geboten, die Ubersetzungen sind mit sachlichen bzw. sprachlichen Annotationen oder Erlauterungen versehen. Register der Eigennamen und der Bibelstellen beschliessen den Band. Enthalten sind unter anderem das Evangelium nach Maria (BG), die Evangelien nach Thomas und Philippus, das Evangelium der Wahrheit (NH), das Evangelium des Judas (Cod. Tchacos) und die Acta Petri (BG und NH).
