This book provides the reader with the background into the use of bismuth and bismuth oxide materials for a photo-catalysis treatment method for wastewater treatment. It covers a general introduction, fundamentals, basic principles of environmental remediation techniques, and synthesis methods of these bismuthbased materials. In addition to many bismuth materials, it also covers newly developed nanostructured materials and synthesis of those materials and their utilization. Both current techniques and processes and future methods are also discussed. Chemists, material scientists, and engineers interested in wastewater remediation will find this book very interesting from the new material perspective for waste treatment.
