A new, comprehensive book to introduce students to the Arabic of the Qur'an, from an expert in his field

"There is no book or series that accomplishes what this one does."—Mustafa Baig, University of Exeter

Designed as a thirteen-week course for beginners in the Arabic language, this textbook allows students access to the Qur'an: giving them the skills to read and understand this most important and complex text. Structured around ten chapters, that progress in difficulty throughout the book, each chapter examines a different verse, including translations and glossaries and followed by grammar explanations and exercises to help deepen the students' knowledge of the language and the text.

Complete with audio resources, this foundational curriculum is a vital resource for students of Islamic Studies, Arabic language courses, with a focus on religious texts, and also all those interested to understand this text fundamental to Islam.
