Within the internal market which lies at the heart of the European Union's rules, it is the free movement of persons that most drastically affects people's everyday lives in the Member States. In this book, the authors try to answer the questions arising from "People's Mobility" in the European Union from an interdisciplinary perspective.

What are the manifestations of mobility? Have they changed in recent years/decades? What is the current grade of mobility? Are individuals more mobile today than in the past?
