Cuneiform Luvian was a language spoken in the second millennium B.C. in ancient Anatolia, or what is now Turkey. It is preserved in documents written in cuneiform script that are important for our knowledge of language, religion, and culture during the Hittite Empire. A Dictionary of Cuneiform Luvian offers the most up-to-date synthesis of scholarly research on this language's vocabulary, our understanding of which has substantially expanded in recent decades.
